Partly Facetious: Difference between elected and appointed

"Indeed the Brits can vote for Larry, Moe or Curly Joe."

"I see and in Pakistani politics no one, but no one, considers that he or she will never ever become the Prime Minister. Even Imran Khan reckons that he can become the Prime Minister."
"Hey if Shaukat Aziz can become the Prime Minister of this country then why cant Imran I ask you."
"Indeed that's a good point. But there is a difference between elected and selected."

"I think they are both rather mediocre - boring and without charisma. Britain doesn't have a Clinton or indeed an Obama."

"Indeed one sided that. Maybe the Brits can learn from our example."
